Yu-Wen (Wen) specializes in play therapy treating children ages 3-12 with all variety of presenting problems. She has true passion to work with children and explore the world with them together. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings including schools, domestic violence and sexual assault center, psych hospital, and private practices. She firmly believes that a client’s self-awareness is the key to develop self-direction and independence. Wen’s approach will provide you with methods to solve problems by utilizing your own strengths.
Wen graduated with a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University in 2020. When Wen was in the Counseling program at Sam, she also completed a Graduate Certificate in Play Therapy in 2019.
Wen has the ability to conduct therapy fluently in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese.
